Curtis D. Krahn is the founding principal of Synthesis Design Inc. Prior to its’ inception in 1992, Curtis studied and received his Masters Degree in Architecture at the University of Oregon, and has focused on residential design over the past 25 years. He loves designing homes and comes by his passion honestly. Having grown up on the North Shore, it is the familiarity and geographic diversity from Deep Cove to Horseshoe Bay that creates exciting challenges and opportunities with every new project.

At the young age of 10, Curt was more interested in building structures out of his french fries, than actually eating them. That was the start of the obsession with designing and building. Curt looks to the future, continuing his quest for sustainable, prefab home systems that minimize on site construction time and waste, and maximizes the quality of construction through local materials and green building practices.
