Kristina received her Masters of Architecture from Moscow Architectural University in Russia. After graduation she worked for one of the leading Architectural offices in Moscow and was involved in a number of public building projects, renovations of heritage buildings, and design competitions. Kristina later broadened her experience joining an Interior Design firm where she worked on private residences, multi-family residential buildings, and commercial offices.
Kristina moved to Vancouver in 2006 where she worked for an Architectural firm specializing in the design of single family custom homes and multi-family residential complexes. She was involved in the design development and production phases of a wide range of projects from the Vancouver Olympic Village to a contemporary private residence in West Vancouver.
Interested in new green building practices and principals she obtained her LEED Accredited Professional certificate with the Canada Green Building Council.
Kristina thrives on the design process and is skilled at communicating ideas to clients through a variety of media. Her computer renderings give clients a near photographic view of their completed home long before contractors break ground. Kristina is also skilled at creating interactive 3D models which allow clients to experience the design from every angle. Kristina’s proficiency with these programs gives Synthesis clients a richer experience and better understanding of the final result.
When not sharing her wealth of experience with the Synthesis Design team, Kristina can be found hitting the slopes of local ski hills, or educating her colleagues on fine Russian vodka.
