Lynda received her Bachelor of Interior Design degree from the University of Manitoba, while supplementing her education with business courses at The University of Oregon. She also completed one year at B.C.I.T in the Hospitality Business program.

After completing her education she began working in Oregon for a Residential Design Firm. Working as a Design Assistant, Lynda’s first project was the refurbishment of the Governor’s Residence. She later worked for a firm that concentrated on residential architecture. To round off her experience she also worked for a firm that specialized in commercial projects.

In 1989 Lynda moved back to Vancouver and began working for a firm that specialized in Hospitality Design. After 5 years of exclusive Hospitality Design Lynda began to work for a large development company that specialized in multi-family homes.

As an Interior Designer, Lynda was exposed to exclusive fabrics and collections from Europe and New York. Her interest and knowledge regarding fine fabrics and their application with respect to Interior Design led naturally to her becoming the British Columbia representative for one of the most exclusive fabric companies in the world.

Since 2005, Lynda has been the Lead Designer of the 15 show homes that form part of the 550 house (Novie Veshki), residential subdivision project in Moscow, Russia. While heading up all aspects of the Interior Design portion of the project, Lynda has also worked directly with a furniture manufacturer in Shanghai, China to both custom design, and implement the furniture in the show homes.

Lynda is a principal of Synthesis Design, and brings to the company a large spectrum of experience and knowledge in both Interior Design and business.
