A native Bostonian, Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Before moving to Vancouver in 2014, Mike spent eighteen years living and working in Portland, Oregon. His background includes a wide variety of architectural project types, including single- and multi-family housing, upscale retirement communities, hotels, and mixed-use buildings.

“U.S.A.’s loss is Canada’s gain,” was what one of Mike’s references said, and we’ve found that to be true. Mike has a positive, outgoing personality, a calm nature, and his work ethic serves him (and his clients) well. Mike is proud to make Vancouver his new home and we are happy to have him as part of the Synthesis Design team.

Away from the office, Mike sings baritone with the Vancouver Men’s Chorus, enjoys travel, researching his family history, architectural photography, and rooting for the Boston Red Sox. As long as he doesn’t cheer (loudly) for the Boston Bruins, we’re good to go.
