WELCOME TO THE CAULFEILD RESIDENCE
From the outset, this renovation was shaped by the clients’ desire to transform their family home into a space that embraced indoor-outdoor living and supported togetherness. The design centers around a spacious kitchen that acts as the heart of the home, where cooking, entertaining, and gathering with family and friends seamlessly converge.
A large outdoor room was added to create 4 seasons living framing the pool and hot tub with an L-shaped space. The area features an exterior gas fireplace, pizza oven, sauna and generous skylight to bring in natural light. Automated blinds were incorporated to shield from wind and retain heat from the fireplace and exterior heaters.
The layout was reimagined to provide private ensuite bathrooms for each bedroom, enhancing comfort and functionality. On the lower level, the renovation introduced a retreat complete with a gym and secondary kitchen, creating a space where the family could unwind and where the children would feel encouraged to stay at home longer.
The primary ensuite features a luxurious steam and sauna experience, reflecting the clients’ vision for wellness and indulgence. Throughout the home, large openings and fluid transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces foster a sense of openness and connection, while the form balances modern elegance with warm, livable design.
