RENEWED ELEGANCE
Our clients had for years admired the architectural “good bones” and sweeping views of this home’s mountainside location, so when the opportunity presented itself they wasted no time in making it their own.
Though the 1990’s house had a spacious and well thought out floor plan, the existing decor was tired and in need of an update. Synthesis Interiors re-worked the Kitchen layout with warm white custom cabinetry and marble-look countertops, adding a generous island, and a “hidden” pantry concealed behind cabinet doors.
Wine storage cabinets complete with art glass define the Dining Room and Living Room spaces, and new mantles, fireplace surrounds, and custom storage cabinetry were added in the Living Room and Great Room. The lighting plan was re-though throughout, and sparkling new sconces, chandeliers, and pendants were added.
Further brightening of the spaces comes from refinished floors and a lighter palette of paint colours throughout. At last, the interior of this grand home seem suited to its surroundings.
