WELCOME TO THE ESPLANADE RESIDENCE
The Esplanade Residence was designed with our clients’ goals and designer’s vision in mind. The home blends simple design, energy efficiency, and beautiful ocean views, while meeting BC Energy Step Code 5. The angled south-facing façade maximizes sunlight and views, while the steeply sloped lot is optimized with multi-tier retaining walls, landscaped green spaces, and a private shaded courtyard below the parking level. The main floor offers bright, open living spaces oriented toward the ocean, while the top floor includes three bedrooms, two with private balconies, sliding doors and expansive views. The basement provides a versatile family space with a media room, gym, and bar, creating a balance between functionality and leisure. Durable, low-maintenance materials—light cement panels, dark stone tile, black metal, frameless glass railings, and natural wood—add contrast and depth to the exterior. This award-winning home highlights the success of collaboration between the client, designer, and builder, delivering a home that is both visually striking and highly practical.
