INGLEWOOD RESIDENCE
This West Vancouver rancher was completely renovated into an open plan concept perfect for relaxing and entertaining family & friends. The warm transitional design was influence by the clients existing furniture, art and style. Although more traditional in style, Synthesis updated the look by selecting cleaner interior finishes as the back drop. This also allowed the accent color of blues & aquas to create an interesting play of color. The kitchen cabinets are a combination of more traditional shaker doors on the lower cabinets & island with more modern flat panel doors for the upper cabinets. Rather than one color of cabinets we combined warm gray and white tones giving the open kitchen an eclectic & interesting rhythm. The large-scale subway tile in a soft gray adds subtle texture and reinforces a traditional yet modern feel. The natural white oak floors are updated in a wider plank but also reflect the original floor of the home. All the walls were painted in a soft, warm gray accented by white trims. This compact rancher is now refreshed and updated in a style that reflects our clients taste and lifestyle.
