“Out of the ashes, rises the Phoenix”
After a recent visit to our clients' property in Carmel Valley, California, we reflected deeply on the journey from devastation to hope.
Our clients California home, was tragically destroyed in the 2020 fire that swept through the region, leaving them with less than 20 minutes to evacuate and collect their most cherished belongings. While the loss was overwhelming, it also presented a unique opportunity.
Walking through the remnants of the original home, we gained invaluable insight into the design of their new residence, which has already been named “Casa Rios.”
The new home will be built using the original foundation, which, fortunately, survived the fire. The 10-acre property, located at Sky Ranch in the picturesque wine region of Carmel Valley, offers sweeping views and stunning sunsets. Inspired by the original home’s design, Casa Rios is thoughtfully crafted to highlight the valley’s beauty while optimizing natural light throughout the day.
The design allows for seamless integration with the landscape, offering controlled exposure to the sun’s path. We have worked closely with our clients to create a space that mirrors their lifestyle and unique needs.
We are grateful for their resilience and optimistic vision despite the hardship during these difficult times.
